As regards our present day situation, it is far from favorable. Our people again voted for Yeltsin's regime and its candidate Putin for Russian president. The big sharks of our domestic capitalism, such as Berezovski and Gusinsky and many others are still at the head of our government in fact and are robbing us in cooperation with their Western masters. But the ordinary people do not realize it. The same hands direct the dirty tricks of their daily propaganda and the dirty tricks and cheating of the results of the last election.
The elections to the Russian Duma and to the presidency were rigged again. As a result of all this we have a pocket Duma and another head of state of their own cooking. This Duma has already canceled the help to the elderly and sick people (such as was half rent, free medicines and other help) and even ratified the Start-2 Treaty, thus practically leaving us defenseless.
Unfortunately the ordinary people keep silent, thinking that everything will be more falsified in case of outright protests. The CPRF tries to explain everything to the people, but they seem to be deaf and dumb from this media barrage. By the way, Victor Anpilov now is cooperating with the CPRF, but not the other progressive or communist parties or groups unfortunately.
I enclose the newspaper "Russian Pravda" the organ of the CPRF and the protests of election rigging that was going on during the last election, plus other information.

Reading the excellent documentation with facts and figures about the outright cheating, manipulating, terrible falsification and actual physical interference by the Putin regime in the election process is devastating, is unbelievable!
The newspaper lists all the Russian electoral regions, cities, provinces where there were thousands of falsifications that took place, even stuffed election boxes etc. etc. Of course the results produced the win for Putin and his Western backers.
There is a letter from Gennady Zyuganov to the Central Election Commission, outlining all these facts.
Unfortunately the leader of the CPRF is "asking" the Commission to look at all of these charges. Why ask? Why not DEMAND that the results be abolished? Why not have called all of the progressive forces onto the streets right after the elections in order to solidify the unity of the people against this falsification?
Even better... knowing full well that these falsifications were going on and shall be going on under this bourgeois capitalist regime, it would have been better to boycott the election instead of lending it legitimacy!
