The fascist regime of Murtaza Rakhimov of the Republic of Bashkortostan now threatens not only the life of Aleksei Rybalko, but the life of his little granddaughter as well.
Recently, the trade union association 'Defense of Labor' reported a brutal police attack against the Communist Rybalko -a turner from the Ufa tool-making factory and also a Co-Chairman of the Bashkortostan chapter of this association - and asked for international solidarity in his defense.
In response to the international protests and the legal action taken by Aleksei and his comrades, the authorities used against him the meanest methods imaginable: he began receiving threats that the life of his granddaughter would be in danger unless he stopped the legal action taken against his assailants and changed his account of the events.
Aleksei Rybalko is one of the best sons of the Russian proletariat, the unbending fighter for the emancipation of his class. We must prevent the Rakhimov regime from making violence against him and his loved ones.
