We took excerpts from the Moscow newspaper "DUEL" by author B.M. Gunko, whose extensive article goes into the very depths of terrorism. We feel that it is worth repeating the information we publish below. Why? Unfortunately most people do not know or do not remember or cannot fathom that USA has sent its soldiers into foreign countries more than 27 times since 1945!
The war crimes against humanity by USA are countless. In its 200 years of existence, USA has uncountable times invaded, mixed and actually overturned governments to suit its own purposes.
Here are invasions and attacks by USA forces since 1945 only:
1. 1945-1949 USA has intervened in China with 113,000 troops and 600 warplanes.
2. 1946-1949 USA and England intervened in Greece with the aim to liquidate the peoples uprising against fascist regime in a civil war. They sent in 5,000 troops and 200 warplanes.
3. 1947 US troops drowned the peoples uprising in Paraguay.
4. 1947-1948 US sent in 90,000 soldiers to quell the peoples uprising against the terrible conditions of the Philippine government.
5. 1950-1953 - The intervention in Korea with 350,000 US soldiers, 1000 tanks, 1,600 warplanes, over 300 battleships. US used napalm bombs, chemical warfare and bacteriological warfare. Over 2,500,000 million Korean people were killed in this conflict.
6. 1954 Intervention in Guatemala in order to stop the nationalizing on the US "Unite Fruit Company" plantations.
7. 1958 Intervention in Lebanon with 14,000 US troops.
8. 1961 Invasion of Cuba with US mercenaries, using over 1,500 troops with 35 warships and 80 warplanes.
9. 1962 Blockade of Cuba by warships and warplanes.
10. 1964 Drowned in bloodshed the peoples uprising in Panama.
11. 1964 Intervention by USA, Britain and Belgium in the Congo with 10,000 troops and 60 warplanes.
12. 1964-1973 Intervention in Vietnam with 2,6 million soldiers, more than 10,000 warplanes and helicopters, hundreds of tanks and warships. US used widely napalm and chemical weapons. US unleashed over 14,000,000 tons ob bombs and rockets, which equals 700 atomic bombs the type used by USA in Hiroshima and Nagasaki and larger than was used by all the Allies during World War II. Over 1, 5 million Vietnamese people were killed.
13. 1963-1973 Intervention in Laos with 50,000 troops and 1,500 warplanes.
14. 1965 Intervention in the Dominican Republic with 40,000 soldiers, 275 warplanes and 50 warships.
15. 1970-1975 Intervention in Cambodia (Kampuchea) with 70,000 soldiers, 500 1983 warplanes and 40 warships.
16. 1983 - Intervention in Lebanon with 2,000 soldiers and 30 warships.
17. 1985 Intervention in Grenada.
18. 1986 Bombing of cities of Libya.
19. 1987 - US Warships in the Persian Gulf and its soldiers.
20. 1989 Intervention gain in Panama with 20,000 soldiers.
21. 1991 The first operation against Iraq with 535,000 soldiers and 2,950 warplanes. This was the first use by American army of uranium shells and bombs on civilians. Over 100,000 Iraq people were killed.
22. 1993 - Intervention in Somalia and butchering of anti-American demonstrations by Somalis by helicopter gun-ships.
23. 1994 Intervention with US troops into Yugoslavia.
24. 1995 Second intervention against Iraq called "Desert Storm".
25. 1996 Third operation against Iraq saturation bombing of the country.
26. 1998 Rocket and missiles attack against Sudan and Afghanistan.
27. 1999 Two months of attacks on Yugoslavia and bombing of Belgrade with bombs and utilizing g uranium shells.
28. 2001 War against Afghanistan under the slogan of "War Against Terrorists".
And, how many secret wars besides the above in most of the countries in South America and other countries?
When we talk about "Terrorism" let us keep the above facts in mind!
