The newspaper Molniya reported about the Congress that was held November 25, 2001 where 480 delegates came in order to constitute themselves into a political Communist Party.
The 480 delegates came from 50 different regions of Russia, plus delegates-guests from 9 former Soviet Republics and also 37 regional parts of Russia.
There were fraternal delegates from the CPRF, RCWP-RPC, Union of Communists, Union of Soviet Officers, Trade Union "Zashchita."
The Congress also adopted the plan to have a March On Moscow in July-August of this year, plus they adopted the resolution to set up a Peoples Tribunal in order to bring to trial Gorbachev and Yeltsin plus other traitors for their dismemberment of the Soviet Motherland.
Fifty-five percent of the delegates were workers, while over 70% have higher education.
A Central Committee of 35 people was elected with Victor Anpilov as the First Secretary.
Below we publish the letter from the Great Patriotic War Veterans that was sent to Mr. Putin.
CITIZEN PRESIDENT!
We are sending this letter to you in order that we may tell you of the tragedies and devastation that befell the Veterans and the majority of Soviet people. The present Russian leadership which has never smelled gunpowder in the trenches, now sit in their warm chairs and wear out the seat of their pants, they are those who are following the policies of people like Churchill, Reagan, Thatcher and others who have dismembered the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. All that we fought and died for now is gone. We cannot sleep at nights, our millions of dear comrades in arms are asking us how was it possible that we allowed this terrible tragedy to happen?
We, who fought from Moscow to Berlin, from the Volga to the Vistula rivers, cannot understand that our Motherland is being devastated and robbed of all the riches that we fought and died for! These present pygmies in power are devastating and crumbling monuments to heroes like Generalissimo Stalin, Karbyshev, Chernyakovsky, counter-intelligence hero Kuznetsov and even the heroine partisan girl Zoya Komsomolskaya. At the same time these present leaders are erecting monuments to traitors like General Vlasov and the bandit, Bandera.
We veterans can no longer put up with this. On behalf of all of our veterans-comrades, we demand that you throw out the law which absolved the crimes of Gorbachev and Yeltsin. We demand that they be tried by a Military Court. This Court should be held while we are still living and should be publicized in all the media for the whole world to see and hear.
If you will agree with this, we shall proceed in a Constitutional manner as the law demands. But we have also agreed at the Congress of Trudovaya Rossia to set up a Peoples Court (just in case) to try Gorbachev and Yeltsin and other traitors to the Motherland. We shall also call veterans of Chechnya and Afghanistan to be with us at this Peoples Tribunal.
In the final analyses we are telling you Citizen President that we are certain that there shall be found people in our Motherland who will accomplish what the Peoples Tribunal will decide upon… while we veterans are still alive.
