It is with pleasure and a measure of excitement we report receipt of a document we hasten to describe as a primary, incisive study, appraisal and prognosis of the situation that has arisen resulting from the post 9/11 ferocious TNC attacks. Daily violence and attacks now fall on labour, democratic rights and freedoms, and we witness the creation of war and international tensions world-wide.
Coming from the world centre of reaction and unipolar controls, the USA, the document is refreshing and a positive contribution to Marxist-Leninist analyses and insights. It clearly defines the massive onslaught by monopoly capitalism that is being hammered on the world’s people, firstly upon the international working classes. The massive and epochal results are dealt with in clear, objective terms. Essential avenues for theoretical exploration and development are coupled with indicated activities on national and international levels. As set forth, these are free of dogmatic attempts to set up this or that formulae on any pre-ordained basis or prognosis.
Titled "For a United Front Against the Capitalist Offensive; For Democratic Rights and Against War", we regret for reasons of space and cost and because of its length, NSC cannot unilaterally undertake publication, but we are convinced it must be made available as soon and as widely as possible in full. We propose that by co-operative efforts with like-minded organizations it be published in pamphlet form and given wide distribution as possible. As such, we are convinced it will provide not only widespread discussion and insights on a very wide scale, but new progressive forces will join us with more senior anti-TNC efforts to contribute toward the necessary mobilization of an historic and inclusive front. At Northstar Compass journal, we do pledge every possible assistance for that great achievement. Financial assistance in a Special Fund for that purpose is required.
We congratulate the authors of this fine document and the realistic avenues of popular struggles it opens. We regard it as an advanced and penetrating analysis that heralds new applications of the science of the working class developed by Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin, together with other masters Marxist-Leninist theoretical and practical development. Often sidetracked or corrupted by past events in to-days world, we urgently suggest that Marxism-Leninism must now be restored and developed to bring clarity, political direction, economic prognosis and social and cultural direction to the historic struggles confronting the working classes and peoples of the world. There is no other course open or possible for survival to meet the burgeoning demands in the ongoing class struggle and war confronted by humanity.
Taking into account the great deepening and massive unfolding of the general crisis of monopoly capitalism, demonstrated by the inner and also the irresolvable contradictions that drive more and more insanely toward total space-based nuclear weapons and war capacities, the destruction of the eco-systems that sustains all life, it is clearly imperative that systematic restoration of Marxism-Leninism and the mobilization of anti Monopoly forces be affected.
The catastrophic road placed before the human society today by mindless neo-liberalism, is a road to suicide. It must be broken and destroyed. We do not believe that this can be achieved without the fullest application of the anti-monopoly, anti-war and pro-humanity mobilizing forces of the science developed and the strategic weapon of the working classes and people brought to life by Marxism-Leninism. We firmly believe the document described above will assist in providing a new beginning in that direction. Let us hear from you and we seek your advice on how to get "For a United Front Against the Capitalist Offensive; For Democratic Rights and Against War" into all possible hands. That we believe will be a small but a significant step on the road to human survival from today’s threats.
