Towards New Octobers

The October revolution is at the age of 85. Still young, dynamic and, despite to all, still shows the way to the proletariat and the oppressed peoples of the world. The October revolution has laid a foundation of division of the world into two parts, into a capitalist and a socialist world. It has also shattered the world of ideology and theory. In school books, the bourgeoisie still continues to teach October revolution as a coup that was organized by Lenin. According to the bourgeoisie, this revolution did not expressed interests of the extensive masses! Also, those Mensheviks and "social revolutionaries" have had opposed to this revolution. According to them, Russia was an undeveloped country and the material conditions of socialist revolution were not yet mellowed in the country, and because of this, the revolution in Russia would only be a "bourgeoisie democratic revolution.

It is easy to understand the opposition of the 2^nd International revisionists against the October Revolution. Because this revolution was the expression of Bolshevism that shattered the 2^nd International revisionism, developed via struggle against it, and that represented Marxist theory. Bolshevism was the gravedigger of revisionism and still continues to be it.

- The October Revolution has opened the way for the practice of the Proletarian Dictatorship thought. The proletariat dictatorship and, theoretical definition of Marx and Engels, "socialism is a historical necessity", was proved in practice through October revolution after the Paris Commune.

- The October Revolution has opened the way of a new type state; socialist state; a state that demolishes the bourgeoisie property and production relations and develops on socialist property and production relations and, consequently, construction of socialism, which is the first stage of communism.

- The October Revolution has opened the way for the practice of socialist democracy, which is the highest level of the democracy. The socialist democracy is the democracy where the working class and broad toiling masses directly express their own political will. It is the democracy where the working class and the toiling masses and their political will are reflected in their leadership. And it is not formal like bourgeoisie democracy. On contrary to bourgeoisie democracy, the election of directors and, when it is necessary, their relieve of duty by the working class and toiling masses is taken as a base in this democracy. Socialist democracy means the dictatorship of huge majority on very tiny minority in the society.

- The October Revolution has shown to the world that the theory, programme and tactics can only be undefeatable theory, realizable programme and applicable tactic when they correspond to concrete analiysis of the concrete situation.

- The October Revolution has opened the age of proletarian revolutions in the history of humanity. Capitalism/imperialism means exploitation and plunder. It means a war for interests of the capital, means imperialist war, and it means the massacre of millions of people for imperialist interests as seen at the 1st and 2nd World Wars. The October Revolution has opened the way that shows the capitalist/imperialist system, exploitation and plunder, is not eternal, it can be destroyed, a world without exploitation and war can be built, and a such system is not only a theoretical thing.

- Together with the 1st World War, the October Revolution caused to birth of general crisis of the capitalism and entrance of the first stage of the general crisis, and it has deepened this crisis. Today, the number of the unemployed people is 1.2 billion and the number of the people who have to live with less then 1 dollar a day is about 1 billion. As it is happening today, capitalism is quarrelling with its periodic crisis since the machinery production stage. The economical crisis means unemployment, poverty and destruction of the capital at gigantic levels. It means material richness to be thrown to the bin for much stronger rivalry of the capitalists. This process is gradually deepening and bringing all rotting of capitalism to eye since the October Revolution and the 1st World War.

- The October Revolution has opened the way of anti-colonist, anti-imperialist struggle, of national liberation struggles'. It became a torch and probing point for the people and nations whom were groaning under the yoke of imperialism and colonialism.

As Stalin's expression, the October Revolution is important because it has shattered the imperialist world front, because it has shaken the power of imperialists not only in their own centers also in the dependent countries, because it has shown to the whole world, to the proletariat, to the oppressed and exploited people that the power of imperialists in the centers and in the dependent countries can not last forever, and because it is a revolution under the ideology of working class.

Today, the imperialist bourgeoisie, revisionists, and intellectuals paid by the bourgeoisie are attacking not only the October Revolution. Since the collapse of Soviet Union and revisionist block, the imperialist bourgeoisie has intensified its anti-communist propaganda on two fronts. Firstly, yet Marxism was died, the world of theories and ideologies was history. The carrier of this ideology, the working class was ceasing to exist. Secondly, the world was entering into a new age. The name of this age was "globalization". According to the bourgeoisie, a "globalized" world was the most democratized one. It was a world where so many freedoms exists and used, where the class struggle doesn't exists, where welfare would be reached by all people in the world, where exploitation doesn't exists, etc.

The imperialist bourgeoisie was "drunk with victory" because of the collapse of social imperialist Soviet Union and the revisionist bloc under his direction, and of capitalist reintegration of the world. But he also new that his dense anti-communist propaganda was totally demagogy. The reality has came out in just few years that we were living at the age of imperialism and proletariat revolutions, which Lenin had analysed in his book called "Imperialism".

In these conditions, the October Revolution should be seen as the expression of a new start that is full of rich and instructive experiences.

Today, the October Revolution is a revolution of analysis and critical questions. The thing that must be put in question is not the theory nor the Marxism-Leninism. The thing that must be put in question is our contribution to Marxism-Leninism; to the theory in the subjects and areas of class struggle, party analysis, economy, history, philosophy, natural sciences, of the situation of international communist movement since the death of Stalin. Today’s meaning of the October Revolution would not be understood without making a broad investigation on these and other subjects and areas, and without doing that, we can’t go nowhere except making a rhetoric evaluation.

Today, understanding the October revolution means to examine the construction of socialism specially in the Soviet Union; to examine the Soviet Union of Lenin and Stalin and the Soviet Union after the 20^th Congress of USSR; and to examine the restoration.

Today, understanding the October Revolution means to examine the dissolution of the organizational unity of the international communist movement, and to struggle for its organizational reunification.

Today, understanding the October Revolution means to bring theoretical clearness to internal developments that are seen within the capitalism and "globalization", and take lessons from this for national and international class struggle.

As our party’s 3^rd Congress expresses, all struggling forces, who are existing really for the revolution, are confronted with the task to to end this miserable, in pieces, disorganized, being indifferent to each other situation of us.

- Today’s meaning of the October Revolution for our Party is to protect and develop the purity of Marxist theory, and to give a struggle without concessions in all areas to make it more strong with it’s own living spirit, method and principles and to make it more "attractive and persuasive".

- Today’s meaning of the October Revolution for our Party is to develop as a leading party and to realize the revolution in Turkey and North Kurdistan.

- Today’s meaning of the October Revolution for our Party is to move through considering not only the revolution in a single countries, also the possibility of regional revolutions.

- Today’s meaning of the October Revolution for our Party is to conduct a work that is connected to the aim of ending the organizational divides situation of the international communist movement, and to have organizational unity of it.

-Today’s meaning of the October Revolution for our Party is to end the divided situation of the anti-imperialist struggle that increases on international level, and to struggle to make a contribution also in this area.

- Today’s meaning of the October Revolution for our Party is to develop and lead the struggle against the imperialist war of USA on Iraq at world, regional and national level.

The October Revolution means conquering the sky.

The October Revolution means hope, courage and breakthrough.

The October Revolution is the future of the exploited and oppressed peoples, it is the future of "the cursed of the world".

In the 85^th anniversary of the October Revolution, our Party’s call is to uphold the struggle to realize the unification of communist, anti-imperialist and anti-fascist forces against the bourgeoisie world.

If Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin were alive they would demand this from us.
