Since September 11, 2001, the rich and the powerful countries of the world have become enraged with the poor half of the world. Their very extreme measures to ensure security and profits for themselves have really given growth to the anger of the oppressed people of the world and wars are started by the imperialist powers, thinking that this will solve all of their problems.
Wars today as waged by US and other imperialist powers are more primitive than the stone-age wars. The targets are not the fighters, the combatants. The targets are the ordinary civilians, the women, the children and elderly people. Whether it is terror tactics or military action, these are the victims.
In primitive wars, the carnage was witnessed by all of the warriors. While suicide patriots die with each attack, the present "great warriors" who press the buttons up high in warplanes see nothing of the mangled bodies, the blood, the gore, the suffering, the taking away lives of the innocent people who just a few minutes ago were living beings like these present warriors. But, because they do not see the gore, the blood, the dismembered bodies, the button pressing warriors and the people who command them go back to enjoy a hearty meal, watch their favorite TV shows or moral-boosting troop entertainers that the Pentagon sends, and then retire to their beds for a good sleep, while their victims writhe in agony in their dying moments!
Tomorrow these imperialist warriors will make other bombing sorties, carpet bombing children, women and old people, or they might press more buttons and send missiles to dismember more bodies, destroy the infrastructure, cultural monuments and poison the water supply and air and make for those that still might survive, hell on earth, all in the holy name of "democracy" and to "defend" their country thousands of miles away, across the ocean.
After all, Bush said that God is with them. He is not neutral, and the US soldiers were ordered to pray every day for Bush as was commanded by their commanders! After each bombing mission or missile attack or tank cannon fire, the troops go to portable churches and all is forgiven. How can you question their God? After all, Pope John II prayed for the killers and for the victims alike.
Imperialist war is about killing people. Newer and more brutal weapons are being invented to kill more people more efficiently. Believe it or not, there is now talk by the US imperialist Pentagon circles that the use of nuclear weapons is justified!
The plans of US imperialism, as was written about in NSC last
month and in this issue, is a plan to dominate and rule the whole world, its
natural resources, its work force and its economy.
The people of the world must demand that the United Nations must be united against imperialist ambitions and that they should stand up to this monster of the 21st Century.
The demand must be, that all of these war criminals be tried by an International Court and sentenced for their crimes against humanity.
Humanity cannot allow the UN to meet the fate of the League of Nations! We cannot allow history to repeat itself!
