The electoral extravaganza campaign has finally come to an end, the predictable victory of George W. Bush and his complete hysteria of forcing American version of "democracy" on the world and threatening to invade countries that US imperialism does not like, and the despair amongst the Kerry supporters and, maybe the end of the anti-war movement in the US.
How is possible, that Bush drew millions of people to his ceremony, while these same millions of Americans are appalled at the horrific carnage and mayhem performed by the US forces in Iraq and Afghanistan?
Americans that are opposed to the war must draw the right lessons from this movement of the US Administration towards creeping neo-fascism and the absolute dictatorship in the drive for their New World Order! There must be a joint effort towards a United Front in the US! Opposition to this war of conquest must be the only criterion!

The protests during this extravaganza showed that not all Americans are worshipping Bush and that there is a growing movement by the people towards impeachment of Bush for war crimes. The desertion of US soldiers in Iraq is growing with each week and this fact is being hidden from the public, but news leaks out more and more.
Just consider for the moment what the $40,000,000 spent on this extravaganza could have done for humanity? By the way, this does NOT include what had been spent on tight security, which made Washington look like a fascist concentration camp, with thousands of US soldiers, marines, police, FBI, CIA and Internal security cordoning off practically the whole city
You know that F.D. Roosevelt spent $2,000 on his inauguration in 1945 – in today’s dollars – only $20,000.
$20,000 was spent on yellow roses for the Ritz Carlton Hotel.
$10,000 was spent on caviar for his guests.
$3,000 on "Laura Bush Cowboy" cookies.
Over 22,000 million children devastated by the Tsunami could have received vaccinations and preventive heath care
1,600,000 number of children could be sent to school for a year in Afghanistan with the money lavished on this inauguration.
$200,500 – price of a suite at the Mandarin Oriental hotel, including presidential suite, chauffeured Mercedes limo and outfits for Mrs N. Marcus.
26,000 bullet-proof vests could have been for the US soldiers serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The taxpayers living in Washington have to pay $17,000,000 for Bush’s Security.
Only 9% of Washington’s citizens voted for President Bush in the last election.

Listen world! God told me to go on a
Mission to liberate you
– to bring you US-style democracy, freedom! This
Holy Mission on behalf of God I'm going to fulfill even if it means
invading, killing, torturing and burning you and your country! My New World Order must prevail, and this weapon will make sure that His Word is carried out! |
The above figures are just the tip of the iceberg – since other costs are hidden from the public, but the ratepayers will have to foot the bill sooner than later.
There is a growing movement to stop pretending that the US Democratic Party and candidates such as Kerry are the answer. The anti-war movement should challenge the direction of US policy The main task is to dismantle the Military-Industrial Complex and disarm the US war machine.
American people are waiting for leadership to head this anti-war, ant-globalization movements. Time is now for the progressive movements to shed their illusions that the US two-party system works – yes it works, for the benefit of Imperialism and its New World Order!
