Russian Duma /Putin Reject the Soviet Flag for the 60^th Anniversary Celebrations!

In a Statement issued by Viktor Tiulkin, member of the Russian Duma and Chairman of the Russian Communist Workers Party he writes about the defeat of his motion to celebrate this 60^th Anniversary of the Great Patriotic War’s Victory over fascism under the flag that the Soviet soldiers fought under and died under, defending to the death, their Soviet Motherland, and defeating the German fascist hordes.

After behind the scenes trade-offs, Putin’s party, the "United Russia" did not even allow for the Russian members of parliament to discuss or debate it. Top pressure from Putin’s regime shut the mouths of anyone whose conscious demanded that this historical truth be observed.

Even Western powers recognize the Soviet Flag on this 60^th Anniversary! If this is not neo-fascism, what is it?

This present Russian flag was never voted on by the people. It was exactly the opposite. The people demanded that the USSR be saved, with all of its symbols. It was Yeltsin and Yakovlev and then Gorbachev and Putin and their gang that pushed this through, without any regards for the will of the people.

The present flag of Russia is a flag that the World War II Russian traitor, General Vlasov, used to fight on the side of German fascism against the Soviet people and the Soviet Red Army and its Red Flag. To fly this flag on the 60th Anniversary of the defeat of fascism is to honour fascism, and dishonour the glorious victory that saved humanity from this Nazi scourge, at the cost of 26 26,000,000 lives.

Any Soviet World War II veteran that will march under this semi-fascist flag is humiliating their Red Army buddies who fought and died so that humanity can live and that their memories would not be desecrated by a flag against which they fought and died.
