Soviet Veterans,
Take Off Your Medals!

From newspaper "Far-eastern Republic"

This small article is the feeling of many former Soviet World War II veterans, although it hurts to publish this observation.

"Every May 9th the present Russian regime tries to honor the old medal wearing veterans as they trudge in front of these leaders of this Soviet occupied land, while looking at the three-color Vlasov flag.

Don’t these veterans know for what they were fighting for? They were fighting for a Socialist Union of Soviet Republics, when the country belonged to the working people, independent of capitalist rulers, for the future of their children and grandchildren, where there was no room for any Western capitalist interference!

But what did this preset regime in front of which the remaining veterans were marching achieve on these sacred days of victory?

They dismembered the Soviet Union, they liquidated socialism, they took away from the people the right to govern and guide the country forward, they systematically started polices which saw the death of millions of our people or leaving the country each year. In other words, these present Russian bourgeois rulers accomplished exactly what Hitler planned to do but was unable to carry his plans to the end.

So why did our veterans march step by step in front of these present Hitlerites and Banderites? Are they veterans? Of course they are! But do they not realize or did they forget that this present Vlasov flag of Russia is the flag that was the official flag of our enemies who fought on the side of Hitler against the Red Army during the Great Patriotic War, and now we march under this flag? You fought under the Soviet Red Flag and against this Vlasov flag that Hitler blessed.

Then, why march with your medals and decorations given by the USSR for your heroic deeds – these medals are Soviet Medals! You should take them off, because in fact, you have given up and have surrendered!"

US Sees Russia as a "Source of Threats" for Democratic Change

The US House of Representatives stated in July that Russia poses a real threat to democratic development in the former Soviet Union republics, now the CIS.

The Committee stated that it is very concerned about the strengthening position of Russia and called on the White House to call a Conference to promote democracy in that region. The Committee said that considerable resources are needed in order to give incentive to democratic groups and their development, and has instructed the USA to give the following millions just to these "democratic groups":

Azerbaijan will receive $38 million, while Armenia will get $75 million and Georgia will receive $79.5 million. Ukraine will receive over $95 millions to promote "democracy", plus the help of "advisors."

COMMENT:

Hey, Mr. Putin, are you listening?

Russia Opposes NATO Operations in Black Sea

From INDO-ASIAN News Services

MOSCOW: The Russian government has opposed NATO conducting naval exercises in the Black Sea. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov said that only the Black Sea countries – Russia, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine and Georgia – have the right for naval exercises in the region.

Russian Minister also said that the Russian Fleet would remain in Crimea until the lease expires in 2017. Since Ukraine is joining NATO, the question of the naval base here is of vital importance to Russia and other former Soviet republics.
