Struggle On Until the Final Victory!

BY V. PRPONIN

American-British imperialism has now got bogged down in Iraq. The heroic and undaunted struggles by the Iraqi patriots have somewhat cooled the aggressor’s appetite. The count is over 2,000 American soldiers dead - that the US only admits to. But the fight of the heroic Islam fighters took this struggle into the heart of Britain, to its capital London. This has caused many of the top leaders to think and also made the people in the street aware as to what their leaders are leading them into. This has affected even some of the top echelons of American leadership, besides, giving impetus to the American people to struggle for an end to this war of aggression.

This aggression has got into itself into a corner and there is no end in sight. This is beginning to be realized even by the most dumb-heads of the leadership of US and Britain. This has curbed them to somewhat curtail their propaganda efforts and slow down the bellicose attacks against other countries which they deem "forces of evil" - like Iran, Syria, Cuba and North Korea plus others, whose policies are not to the liking of US imperialism.

But nevertheless the aggression in the near East is ongoing in Iraq, where blood is flowing, and this might give an impression that the anti-war movement has not made a slightest bit of difference to US and British imperialism. The appetite of Imperialism does not seem to have slowed down. Countries like Vietnam know what imperialism is and even today cannot get rid of the chemical poisoning that the country and the people suffered and who are still dying from its effects. And this is after 30 years!

People have to be vigilant and cannot think that US imperialism, although it is bogged down in Iraq, that it will not attack another country – we should remember how the Second World War started and by whom. Hitler set the stage for imperialism to follow. But fascist Germany was defeated by the Soviet Red Army and its allies but how colossal was the tragedy for mankind?

Is US imperialism capable to follow in Hitler’s path? Of course it can! This fact alone should be remembered not only by the people of the world, but also by the heads of capitalist and imperialist states. There is no love between these states when it comes to expansionism and trying to overcome the economic crisis.

We cannot overlook the role before World War Two of the imperialist states such as US, Great Britain, France and many others. They all did everything in their power to rebuild Germany and push it towards attacking the Soviet Union. They thought and hoped that Germany and the USSR will bleed each other dry in this conflict, then they both can be taken over with empty hands by the Western imperialist powers.

History knows as to what transpired. Imperialist states are always at war with each other for markets and territorial gain of raw resources. These conflicts between capitalist states present hardships on the people who have to bear two struggles, the terror and loss of rights and other economic and political hardships.

When the socialist state of the USSR was existing and growing stronger and the socialist idea was a bulwark against imperialist plans for world expansion and against capitalists states, this presented a great danger to these capitalist countries, since their exploitation of the world became harder to promote and justify, with the idea of socialism growing stronger all the time – and they foresaw the end of capitalism and exploitation, if the socialist yearning of the people was not going to be unchecked. But now, when the communist ideas are splintered, and there the USSR no longer exists and other socialist states do not present a serious threat to capitalism-imperialism, they do not have to curtail their activities and appetites for exploitation and profits.

I do not think that no one in their right mind can be fooled by the words of Bush and his idea that he is safeguarding and promoting democracy and other lies – even Hitler was promising all sorts of programs for democracy, and his only concern was struggling against Bolshevism. But, what has history shown us as the result of these empty demagogic words?

That is why people of the world cannot be lulled into inactivity regarding Iraq and other countries under threat from the American New World Order! Workers, as in Ukraine and other countries, whose governments are just lackeys of US imperialism, sent their soldiers to fight the conquest war in Iraq – must do everything in their power to demand that their soldiers be immediately withdrawn from Iraq back home.

Imperialism, of course historically must die – but it will not die of its own free will - it all depends upon the masses of people, when this death shall occur. As long as Imperialism exists, there will always be wars and conquest, and the danger for the future of mankind to exist.

We cannot allow this to exist and we cannot allow this to happen. We must defeat imperialism so that no trace will remain of this peril in the world!
