To the Great Victory of the Soviet People – Great Continuation
1945-2005

To Comrade Michael Lucas – Chairman of the International Council of Friendship and Solidarity with the Soviet People, to the members of the Council and to the participants of the 2^nd Congress of Friendship and Solidarity with the Soviet People

Dear comrades,

On behalf of organizing committee and participants of the continuously functioning at the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences monthly academic theoretical seminar "Marxist Readings", as well as the organizing committee and participating members of the colloquium "Marxism: the Past, the Present and the Future" of the IV Russian International Philosophical Congress – "Philosophy and Future of the Civilization", and from myself personally I wholeheartedly greet the participants of the international forum and wish you great success in your work.

Post-soviet history demonstrated that the treacherous and treasonous demolition of the Soviet Union takes revenge not only on the peoples of the former Soviet Union, but also on the entire humanity. As a result of the New World Order enforced by USA and NATO the unipolar world became more fragile and in many ways dangerously more unpredictable. Under the pretence of fighting "international terrorism", but in reality with the purpose of geopolitical and geostrategic re-division of the world the USA and NATO started, contrary to the UN Statute, unprecedented state-terrorist wars against less developed sovereign countries, members of the United Nations. 78% of the world population today lives at or below poverty line, ecological situation is becoming worse everywhere, contradictions between labour and capital are getting worse, rich countries become richer and poor poorer. As a result, the modern world "is pregnant" with the socialist revolution in the very broad sense of this concept. Objective logic of the socio-economic and political development of the world community proves that, overall, the modern world develops according to Marx: it inexorably approaches the end of human prehistory and socialism became a critical imperative of the modern times. No doubt, formational reintegration of the people of former USSR can speed up the world’s movement towards socialism and communism. In the year of the 60^th anniversary of the victory of the good will over fascism we have the right to proclaim: To the Great Victory of the Soviet People – great continuation! Long live socialism, great victorious Soviet People and friendship between the people of the whole world. Neoimperialism and its child "bushism" will not succeed!
