Letter from Kagul Council of Citizens of the USSR

Dear Comrades,

Our hearts have been filled with gratitude and moral satisfaction since we found out about the Second Congress of the International Council for Friendship and Solidarity with the Soviet People being held.

The existence of an organization with such name already is recognition of illegal destruction of the state structure of the Soviet Union and highlights the globalist terrorist informational-psychological expansion against the Soviet people. We are very thankful to the progressive world community who in one way or the other participates in this super-important and noble cause.

During the criminal oppression of Moldavia by fascist Romania in 1920s-1940s, prominent people of those days stood up to defend our fathers and grandfathers, among them: Louis Aragon, Blasco Ibanez, Paul Langevin, Thomas Mann, Konstantin Parkhon, Romain Rolland, Albert Einstein, Paul Eluard and others. Henri Barbusse headed a delegation of Western European progressive community which arrived directly to Kishinev. Upon return to his homeland he published a series of articles, which later became a foundation for his book "Butchers" (or "Executioners"). These articles shocked the world with the horrific truth about white terror in the occupied area. We are glad that your organization has the same goals and the above mentioned prominent people. Today's, already fourth by number, psychopathic occupation is not any more human or easier than all of the previous ones, although it is being conducted by local occupiers and political demagogues.

Occupying commandant's offices, recognized by the official world community as legal governments in the republics of the USSR, in many ways alienate the Soviet people and divide people into selfish, constantly humiliated units who are being changed into gloomy primitive population. Having lost material and spiritual axis, connections with the world's progressive forces, tranquilized by frantic propaganda of the false Western values, Soviet people feel guilty before the peoples of the world and helpless in their own misery. Even when celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Great Victory of Good Will and Progress over the fascist plague, none of the official people dared to mention that the main inspiration, executor and Defender of the Good Will and Progress were Soviet People, their high moral spirit and their sense of responsibility for the fate of the world. There are only a handful of governments around the world today who truly defend interests of their countries' people. The rest are competing in humiliation of people, slavishly fulfilling the will of the base and evil forces, which took power over the Earth.

Our Moldavia is also floundering in antihuman political and economic shit. Its leadership from the first days got stuck in looting of the people's wealth, in corruption, humiliation, fascist nationalism, absolutely dirty electoral "techniques" and in moral political and economic Jesuitism and terror. Nonetheless, numerous official persons from various international organizations happily cooperate with them and praise them for "development of democracy", successful reforms, they offer membership in their organizations, develop and fulfill programs of common actions... All of this leaps to very sad conclusions. Today's anniversary summit of the UN in New York added to this. It confirmed complete incapability of the world establishment.

Dear comrades! All these sad events speak about one thing only – the WORLD, the ECONOMY and the CIVILIZATION, while becoming more and more market-oriented, are leaving the borders of culture, morality and humanism altogether... However, many Soviet people did not panic and did not lose their spirit. These people have limited opportunities to contact larger audience. They do not have necessary means of communications. Their very weak attempts to do something drowned in the flood of lies, disinformation of the official media. Nonetheless, we are certain that thanks to the participants of today's Congress who took responsibility for the state of the affairs in the world, our small efforts will multiply tenfold in their results and the WORLD will return to a , progressive path of development and humanism, social justice and high morals will become human society's ideal again.
