Ukrainian Fascists Stopped on Kreshchatik

From newspaper "DOSVITNI OGNI"

As soon as it became known that the Ukrainian fascist nationalist veterans of OUN-UPA were going to march in Kiev last October 15, 2005 along the main boulevard of Kiev, the Progressive Socialist Party of Ukraine organized a huge protest of over 7,000 people in order to not permit these Fascists to march in their nationalist-fascist uniforms, to glorify their cooperation with Nazi Germany during World War II.

The photographs speak louder than words. There were many young people who were at the forefront of stopping these fascists. They were members of the Young Guard organization. Of course Ukraine's regime's police, dressed for battle as the photograph shows, tried to stop and harm the progressive marchers, while leaving the fascists-nationalists alone, who desperately wanted a provocation at all costs.

It is interesting that the so-called "OUN-UPA" veterans numbered 7 men, while the nationalists of Kiev could only muster around 500 of their supporters who, upon seeing the over 7,000 strong mass of patriots, decided to very slowly fade away.

All of Ukraine found out what forces are at work, in order to stop these fascists-nationalists, and who stands in defence of the people!

The people of Ukraine are not taking this fascist revival without a struggle, as these photographs show vividly. The demonstration was organized and led by the Progressive Socialist Party of Ukraine, led by its chairperson Natalia Vitrenko, shown in the middle photo. Confrontation with police is shown. The bottom photo shows how these "SS" goons of Ukraine's regime are attired.
