Immediate Danger for All of Humanity

By Editor of NSC

Dear readers:

This extra Editorial is very necessary to point out as clearly as I can the serious danger of the attack against Syria and Sudan, and, this is largely due to the absolute connivance of the United Nation’s Secretary General, Kofi Annan and the calculating powers behind Annan.

Is this too strong a language against the path that the United Nations has started to take in the last while and the dangerous path that it seems to be taking now?

I certainly do not think so, and there are millions upon of millions of people around the globe that think the same way.

Mr. Annan has met with President George Bush in order to discuss peacekeeping force to Sudan’s war torn Darfur region.

Of course if you consider the fact that Sudan is extremely rich in resources and particularly oil – while the United States has for a very long time was drooling at the mouth at the prospect of setting up a permanent US military presence in the region – Kofi Annan of course will concur. It seems obvious that Kofi Annan does not guide the policy of the United Nations at all, he merely follows orders as a good sheep-dog does when his master whistles.

It seems that the Security Council has no voice of its own, if you really look at the policies it follows which practically fall in line with the policies being proposed by the White House and Pentagon – given a few words of difference here and there!

Of course, because of imperialist policies and positioning for power by the imperialist countries over the past many years, the carnage and death of human life in Darfur region of Sudan was horrific.

US imperialism is pulling out all the stops in order to revamp the United Nations Organization in order with its New World Order. The Third World countries are resisting this fascist manoeuvre. The US Administration asks why not? " After all we are paying one third of the upkeep of the United Nations in New York" said US John Bolton, Bush’s hatchet man!

Really, the question that should be asked is why not take the decisive decision and move the UN from New York and direct manipulations by the White House?

Kofi Annan should know as to what is happening! Or is he so deep in the pockets of US imperialism that he cannot even come up for air?

Really, if we analyze this meeting, it is a meeting of two lame ducks – so to speak – both working against a countdown to leave their mark on humanity before they depart, Kofi Annan has to leave his position by the end of January on 2007, while Bush has only 33 months left at the White House.

Kofi Annan is lame because from the scandal he oversaw, the Oil For Food scandal. His son Kojo, whom Kofi employed is greatly implicated in the money scandal. There is growing criticism of Kofi for not keeping a tighter reign on this multi-billion money scandal of selling Iraqi oil after US invaded Iraq and supposedly that money was to buy food and medicine for the Iraqis.

Kofi Annan of course knows what is the plan of US imperialism in revamping the UN. The Bush Administration now wants to have another Secretary General, since Kofi Annan is no longer useful, having served his purpose. US Imperialism is proposing that the next Secretary General should be the White House’s favourite, former Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski of US approved "New Europe."

If Mr. Kofi Annan wants to go down in history as a man of peace and courage to stand up to this creeping fascism of the US Administration, he will make a forthright statement and expose the policy of the US New World Order - which basically is a carbon copy of German fascism!

History knows already how it will judge U.S. President Bush. Kofi Annan should seriously think about the kind of judgement that the people of the world will make about him.
