Italy is a very special country and a very unique form of socialist struggle is going on there. As usual, things in Italy are done with a passion that comes from the heart.

Among other things the country is known for fractured political scene and a passion for soccer. What few people outside of Italy know, that soccer in Italy is highly political and there are only two forces: Socialist and Fascist. Millions of people, young and old struggle for socialism with soccer and come in force to defeat the fascist evil in their country.

Entire teams see themselves belonging to one or the other camp and dedicated socialist forces come out to the soccer fields to witness the triumph of socialism. The symbols, the banners and emblems they carry tell the story of their hearts: Socialism has lived, Socialism lives and Socialism will live! There are portraits of Lenin, Stalin, Castro, Che, flags of the German Democratic Republic, Red flags with hammer and Sickle – plus flags of other former socialist countries that were betrayed to imperialism by Gorbachev and other former and present.

Most people in Italy do not recognize these acts of treason as the end of Socialism. They recognize the Soviet Union as it was and as it will be. The flags of Socialism have been removed from the capitals of former socialist countries, but they fly in Italy, which knows what NATO is and how murderous and evil American imperialism is.

We salute our Italian comrades for showing the way! We salute Italians for removing the capitalist-imperialist servant Berlusconi and bringing Italian soldiers home from Iraq! Let other countries follow their example!
