Why All the Talk, But No Action on Lebanon?

As this is being written at the beginning August while the attacks by Israel Zionists are proceeding to kill, murder, bomb, occupy, destroy – everyone is making statements, so diplomatic, so meaningless and so very sickening, that you have to be a sheer idiot not to get your blood boiling at this injustice, wanton waste of time while people are being killed, displaced, butchered, property destroyed and 900,000 people displaced and forced to flee for their lives.
Even the Russian government said "that we are keeping our eye on this situation and we’re working for a peaceful solution."
How very charming and full of nice words, while people are dying and while children are being massacred!
We can understand the imperialist West in pussy-footing around this genocide, we can also understand the European Union doing the same, even though they issued meek statements that sort-of condemned Israel. We said what we thought of Koffi Annan, no use repeating the disappointment. The Arab states also have no unity of purpose, except for their own preservation.
That leaves Russia and China – the two powers who are members of the Security Council and having veto power. Why only "statements" from them, and all very diplomatic in character but no action in them? Why? Why?
Why not at the first sign of the start of this Israel-Zionist butchery against Lebanon, not break off diplomatic relations? Why not call back your Ambassadors? Why not break off all economic relations?
Words are cheap! Actions speak louder than words!
Of course NSC will be criticized as to what right have we to write like this – after all, we are not a party, not a state organization…why don’t we just keep quite and pretend that these innocent people are not dying, not being displaced from their homes, that children are not being killed, that fathers and mothers whose children were butchered (as this photograph shows) do not matter – after all – there are more important diplomatic tasks to think about and resolve than the fate of these people that are killed!
By being quiet and taking no action against this barbarity, you are perceived by these victims just as guilty as those who are committing these crimes!
Stop The Press!
As NSC was going to press on Sunday, August 13, 2006, the Israeli Cabinet approved a Middle East Cease Fire after a month-long barbaric attack on Lebanon by the Zionist leadership of Israel. The vote was 24-0, with one abstention. The Lebanese Government also approved the cease-fire, but the Hezbollah leader said that "the war has not ended."
With world public opinion being a factor and with US and other great power leaders under great pressure by their very own people demanding immediate action – (history will never forgive them for taking so long to make this decision), Israel, in spite of the US-supported massive armour and army, met its match in the small number of Lebanese fighters. Israel lost militarily and politically.
ZIONISM = FASCISM
As did Nazi Germany, so does Israel now in Lebanon. Because the Lebanese captured 2 Israeli soldiers, Israel as of August 2, 2006 has in jail 10,073 Palestinian political prisoners in 30 jails all across Israel.
Amongst those jailed without any charges are 27 Members of Parliament of Palestine plus 7of its Ministers. This number includes women and children.
What in hell is the use of the UN Secretary General Koffi Annan saying on July 31, 2006 that:
"Israel is causing death and suffering on a wholly unacceptable level."
When is killing innocent people – including children "acceptable on any level?"
How can this so-called head of the United Nations make such a statement after hearing the Prime Minister of Israel Ehud Olmert say: "We will not stop this battle, despite the difficult incidents this morning." (July 31, 2006 when Israel killed over 50 people, most of them children!)
Koffi Annan should resign his post because he is not capable of running the UN or does not want to or is heavily indebted to US Imperialism.
As Rev, Martin Luther King said: "A time comes when being quiet is a betrayal’
The statement that Koffi Annan made was in all essence, saying nothing. World humanity will call it a betrayal!
