THIRD WORLD CONGRESS

NOVEMBER 2007 – MOSCOW

FROM PROFESSOR DAVID DZHOHADZE – RUSSIAN ACADEMY OF SCIENCES & SOVIET SOCIETY FOR FRIENDSHIP WITH FOREIGN COUNTRIES

Dear comrades:

We are going forward slowly, but steadily. Of course it would be better if our pace would be quicker, but unfortunately the bureaucracy is putting sticks into the wheel. Again I am repeating myself that of bureaucracy Lenin was more afraid than from the bourgeoisie. And he was correct, because this is one of the reasons after 1953 that helped to dismember the USSR. This bureaucracy today is not helping us in the necessity to organize quickly the Third World Congress for Friendship and Solidarity with Soviet People.

But in order to go forward quickly, we must already start the process of sending the necessary information all over the world, so that by March 1, 2007 we will have received the applications from those that were invited and those who want to participate in this very important and necessary World Congress on the occasion of the 90th Anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution. This is necessary in order that we can plan concretely the three-day Congress, so that we can send out in March the full proposed Agenda to all of the participants.

Enclosed is the proposed suggestions in detail that I would like you and your comrades to take a look at, add your thoughts, eliminate what you feel is not necessary and send it to me directly to the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Philosophical Faculty in Moscow.

Regarding the criticism of Gennady Zyuganov of the CPRF that the delegates at the Mini Conference voiced very correctly, (I myself have written a book criticizing Zyuganov and the CPRF faction in the Russian Duma and I will send the book to you shortly). But this should not stop our Congress that is so important for the future of the USSR and of the Soviet people. We must carry on in this noble cause in order to consolidate all of the parties into a unified force. Gennady Zyuganov promised to help in this effort.

Sincere and very best wishes to all comrades
PROFESSOR DAVID DZHOHADZE
