Saddam Execution Rushed To Hide Information

MOSCOW – The execution of Saddam Hussein was rushed in order to prevent the former Iraqi leader from revealing damaging facts that would compromise the United States, stated former Prime Minister of Russia, Yevgeny Primakov, on a TV interview in January in Moscow. President Bush would have suffered if Saddam was allowed to speak all that he knew.

Primakov made two confidential trips to Iraq at the request of President Putin shortly before US-led invasion of Iraq. He also alleged that Saddam made a deal with Washington before the 2003 invasion of Iraq in order to allow the US to occupy the country without meeting any opposition.

COMMENT: Why did not Mr. Primakov make this statement before Saddam was executed?

No Unity with Enemies of the USSR!

By Vladimir Shkarupa
Secretary of AUCPB in Mineralny Vody

At the Eternal Flame to Soviet fallen heroes.

Last November 7, 2006 in the city of Mineralny Vody in front of the monument to V.I. Lenin, Communists gathered at a meeting, on the 89th Anniversary of the Great October Revolution. There were over 300 people present and banners read: "The Cause of the Great October Revolution cannot be defeated!", "Our Home is the USSR!" "Russia will be saved only by a Socialist Revolution!" – "Stalin – the great patriot of USSR! Putin an enemy of Russia!" Portraits of Stalin, and Red flags with hammer and sickle emblems were carried by the demonstrators. We sang the International and the Hymn of the Soviet Union.

After the meeting took place the following resolution was adopted unanimously.

Resolution Adopted at the 89th Anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution

We the participants of this meeting, confirm that the Great October Socialist Revolution – this was the main event in the history of mankind. November 7th was the pinnacle event that started the process of eliminating the exploitation of man by man.

89 years ago our people got off their knees, thrown out the Czar, chased the bourgeoisie and started to build Socialism. In the middle of 1930’s in the USSR, Socialism was built: there was the liquidation of private property and the peoples rule over the means of production, there was eliminated the exploitation of man by man, social guarantees were put in place, right to work and rest, free education and health care, and the right of obtaining free living quarters.

As a result of the counter-revolution in 1991-1993 the Soviet people lost all that. Genocide started to take place. Our task now is to reconstitute the USSR again, give rebirth to Socialism.

We the participants of this meeting cannot allow the present regime to change or eliminate the October 7th celebration to November 4th – this is a provocation against the people. There cannot be any unity between the workers and the exploiting capitalists, between hunger and wealth.

Only a Socialist Revolution will save our Motherland. Our task is to convince the people that this is possible.

The words of the International should guide us.

Long live the Socialist Revolution!

Russia, Belarus Sign Air Defence Deal

Russian Information Agency- Novosti

In a news despatch on January 18 2007, Russia and Belarus have signed a common regional air defence system for the future Union State that they are forming, according to the Russian military official statement.

Russia and Belarus have been discussing this Union State since 1997, with a common economic, customs and political space, but the negotiations have been complicated by a host of issues, including energy and financial disputes.

In line with this agreement for a single air space defence system, Russia has delivered four S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems to Belarus, which is now deployed near Brest and Grodno.

Tadjikistan Today

News from Soviet newspapers

This was the jewel in Central Asia during Soviet times, but now, a foreigner visiting the country cannot even understand how the people are able to survive in this "capitalist paradise" as it is promoted now in the West and Far East.

This is a country with 6 million people who had an infrastructure, industry, agriculture and all other necessities of life.

Here are just some facts gathered from their own Tadjik newspapers:

This last statement by Abrahim Amirov, an off-duty policeman says it all like it is:

"What is the point of giving you our opinion? Nothing changes and nothing ever gets better. We are living now in the 17th Century, and we are blocked in everywhere. We had it good but we did not appreciate it!"

Lies upon Lies about the Gulag

Between US publisher Hearst, Hitler, anti-Sovieteer Solzhenitsyn, Conquest, Gorbachev, Yakovlev and the CIA – the numbers of Soviet Gulag prisoners, camps, murders – all the crimes imaginable are attributed to Stalin, Socialism and the Soviet Union. The number of people in Stalin prisons in the USSR and its death camps has now reached close to 46,000,000 and this does not even include much heralded by Ukrainian nationalists, the so-called hunger genocide in Ukraine that the" Moskali were responsible for".

I am not going to go into all of these lies, because in this short article you cannot answer all of the lies that were written and published in hundreds of books – starting with Hitler. Just a few facts will suffice.

Gorbachev, who is one of the biggest traitors to his country that the world history has ever seen, boasted to the world media that when he opens the CPSU archives, the whole truth will come out about the Gulag figures etc.

Well, the speculation about the millions who supposedly died in the Soviet Union died as soon as the CPSU Archives were opened, all of these "experts" all of a sudden ignored these archives completely as if they did not exist. These archives are there and they show the complete false lies of these "experts" who got tremendous financial help from Western secret services for all of those lies they perpetrated in all of these years. It is of note that none of these figures in the Soviet archives were ever allowed to be published in the Western Press. Gorbachev, Solzhenitsyn and all the others lost complete interest in these archives immediately as soon as they were opened.

During the very difficult times for the USSR, with intervention, sabotage, spies, internal enemies, completely surrounded by capitalist states, trade embargo and all other scenarios that the CPSU and Stalin had to overcome, plus knowing full well that Western Imperialism was building up Hitler to attack the Soviet Union, there were at the most 2.5 million people in the Soviet prison system i.e, 2.4% of the adult population. How does this compare to the USA?

In the United States of America, a country of 252 million people (1996), the richest country in the world, not devastated by internal civil war or intervention or WWII, which consumes over 60% of the world’s resources, how many people are in prison?

The number of people in US jails is over 5.5 million and growing by 96,000 each year! This is close to 1% more than were in jail at any time in the Soviet Union.

The right-wing lies are repeated in order to fight today‘s communists. They are repeated so that all workers will find no alternative to capitalism or neo-liberalism. This is part of the dirty war against communists who alone have an alternative to offer for the future – a Socialist Society. This is the reason why all these lies, all these books that are written, plus all the media being used daily to promote these lies, feeling that if you keep on telling these lies constantly, people will start to believe them as the truth!

Bush’s New Strategy Provokes Violence

FROM VOICE OF RUSSIA

Viktor Yenikeev

President Bush’s words that he won’t withdraw troops from Iraq even if his wife Dora and his dog Barney are the only ones to support him sound blasphemous. It is a very short-sighted approach because the majority of Iraqis and Americans want to US troops out.

The death toll is mounting, both for the Iraqis and the US troops. The new attacks were carried out after President Bush had revealed his new strategy and promise to send an extra 22,000 US troops to Iraq.

The whole world realized that the execution of Saddam Hussein was directed from Washington.

According to a recent BBC poll, more than 73% of people in 25 countries, including Russia, condemn the US invasion of Iraq.

In Britain, which is the main US ally, more than 80% of its citizens oppose Washington’s policy in Iraq.

COMMENT:

Great statement – but it just says exactly what everyone knows – nothing more. What about urging the present Russian regime to press the US directly by threatening to break off diplomatic relations, or, recall Russia’s Ambassador, or at least boycott Washington’s Wine and Cheese parties, if nothing else!

USSR To Be Reborn In 2008?

From the newspaper "Komsomolskaya Pravda"

On January 24 in the Swiss city of Davos starts the annual session of the World Economic Forum. On the eve of this forum its experts presented a sensational report. According to their forecasts, as early as in a year the USSR will appear on the map again, and all of this due to high oil prices.

The West is, obviously, deeply disturbed by such a forecast. It is not by chance that this report has been published under the headline "Global Threats". It is likely that the forum participants will engage in a lively discussion of such unexpected scenario.

In the report they have prepared, the specialists of the Davos Forum warn the Earth's population: in 2008 oil prices can suddenly rise threefold to $150 per barrel (today's price is about $50). Such sudden increase in oil and gas prices will eventually lead to severe consequences. The Forum specialists predict the possibility of the formation of various political unions around the world among the countries-exporters of the "black gold" and countries-consumers according to the principle "I sell cheaper to my neighbour".

Russia will be playing one of the key roles in this scene. We are the world's second largest oil producer and one of the largest exporters; therefore, we have all chances to step forward as a united front, at least within the realm of the former Soviet Union. This can give us an opportunity to form that same union (for instance, the second USSR), the appearance of which threatens Davos Forum's specialists so much. Among the first candidates for unification with Russia they name Armenia, Uzbekistan and, strangely enough, Georgia, which today is ready to unite with anyone in the Universe but Russia. The Davos economists are certain that these three republics experience dire shortage of energy resources already today. And when the energy prices increase they will do so even more.

The solution in such situation remains to enter into a political marriage with the country-exporter and to use the natural treasure at godly "family" prices. The selection of potential "political marriage partners" in the post-Soviet geography is not that large. Other than Russia, large exporters of oil in this territory are Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan. However, the World Economic Forum specialists are positive Russia will be the main chooser of partners. It will "help" the republics to make the choice.

Indeed, will the republics voluntarily join such a union or not?

A. Dugin, Ph.D. Political Science, Master of Philosophy. Maybe our Moscow friends will let NSC know about this new movement.

Alexander Dugin, the leader of the International Eurasian Movement: "Shut the oil pipe valve and wait until people in the country-consumer overthrow the head of their government After the coup, put in place a pro-Russian leader. And don't even think of paying any attention to what the West has to say about this being inhumane. America does not shy away from any means in achieving its geopolitical and other interests, even to the invasion of another country, as in the example of Iraq." According to Alexander Dugin's version, it will be a "soft form of the Soviet Union": "It could be a Eurasian union, which President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev has been suggesting since 1996. It would be a confederation where every subject will have maximum independence; however, on major .political issues the decisions will be made by one centre – Moscow."

IS THIS ANOTHER ATTEMPT AT A RUSSIAN EMPIRE INSTEAD OF THE SOVIET UNION?
