A Spanish Edition of NSC Is a Real Possibility!

Dear comrades and friends:

By now you are all aware of our need for the successful completion of $30,000 financial campaign to help to publish each month the English, French and Russian editions of Northstar Compass.

As of the date for NSC going into the printers, we have raised close to $7,000 of our $30,000 campaign.

Below we print an official letter from the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Chile (Proletarian Action) regarding the possibility of having a Spanish Edition of NSC.

"Dear comrade Michael Lucas and all comrades:

Together we fraternally greet all of you and are very happy with receiving regularly NSC and we are also in agreement to try to publish a Spanish Edition of Northstar Compass. To start this process we would like to recommend the following:

1: To have the copy, pictures, drawings and every item each month to be able to publish it in Spanish. It would be preferable to get the copy in Spanish, but if that is not possible, then we shall take care of the translations, but as you know, this will take more time.

2: To produce 2,000 copies of each NSC issue and mail it would cost around $850 US. Could you help us with about $500 for each issue and we shall undertake to finance the rest. Unfortunately we are not in a position to finance the whole amount.

Please let us know as quickly as possible so that the Spanish Edition of NSC can see the light of day as soon as possible.
