International Communist Seminar in Brussels Was a Success

This Seminar was held May 4-6 in Brussels, Belgium of this year on the 90th Anniversary of the Great October Revolution. The main theme was "The validity and current relevance of the October Revolution of 1917 for the 21st Century."

There were 53 communist and workers’ parties attending from 41 countries. The reports presented contained elements of reflection and analysis on the significance of the October Revolution for today‘s working class and peoples struggles for the building and the tasks of the communist and workers’ parties.

Resolutions were presented on solidarity with Cuba and plus the liberation of the Cuban Five; Support for Filipino peoples struggles; Against repression of May day in Turkey; About the occupation of the Middle East; Against the repressive law on political parties in Russia and the defence of the sovereignty of Belarus, plus many others that were discussed and adopted.
