Letter Accuses China’s CP of Drifting

A very rare Open Letter signed by 17 former top officials of the Communist Party of China and Marxist scholars, accused China’s top leaders of steering the country in the wrong direction, away from Socialism, pandering to foreign capitalists, betraying the workers’ revolution and jeopardizing social stability and causing social unrest.

We’re going down an evil road,” said the letter of the website http:www.maoflg.net “The whole country is at a most precarious time.”

This challenge is unusual, because of the importance of its signatories and its timing before the upcoming party congress, an event that is held every five years.

The names that were affixed to this Open Letter include former China’s Government Ministers, former Ambassador to USSR, ex-Army officers and Academics from the China Academy of Sciences. Their emphasis was to restore the Communist Party control over the economy that has now rapidly went towards outright capitalism.

These dedicated Marxist- Leninist Communists are demanding that a law be passed to reverse the ownership of private property, to eliminate the opportunity for the present capitalist owners of enterprises to join the Communist Party; imposing sharp restrictions on foreign ownership and investments in the Chinese economy and placing emphasis on Marxist education.

They also pointed out that the present CPC policy and its present economic liberalization has led to a very dangerous mix of widespread corruption, unemployment, and a very dangerous growing wealth gap and also growing social unrest.

The accusations were based on facts that were published by the CC CPC internally that said: “Party secretaries have become capitalists and you even promoted some of them into CPC Central Committee.”

Foreign multinational corporations are plundering the domestic markets and crushing our national economy. China has become the cheap labour force for capitalism-imperialism.

There are now over 3 million executive party secretaries that own their private businesses – when two years ago there were none.

After years of trying to influence the CC CPC unto the road of Marxism-Leninism and back to Socialism, the present CC CPC leadership rebuffed them and the only alternative was this Open Letter, posted on the Internet.
