Lithuania and Growing Fascism

Did the Lithuanian people and their children forgot at what human sacrifice by the Soviet Red Army was made for their liberation from German fascism during WW II? Did they also forget the economic help that the Soviet people rendered to the Lithuanian people?

After the war, the reconstruction, by the Soviet Union, the free health care, free education and jobs were available for every Lithuanian – they were then starting to build a Socialist Society.

During the postwar era, American imperialism organized, promoted and

financed the growth of nationalism, reaction and pushed separation from the USSR, under the guise of “freedom and democracy” and especially anti-Sovietism and anti-Russianism!

Now that Lithuania is an ass-kissing member of NAT, line-hook-and-sinker – just last month NATO had its Conference in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania.

At this NATO Conference not all went according what Robert Gates, the US Secretary of Defense wanted. He accused some NATO countries (including Lithuania) of not being prepared “to fight and die in Afghanistan against the Taliban”. Most Europeans regard the US inspired Afghan conflict as wrong and immoral – it’s an American war – it’s all about the oil- and they see it also a lost war!

Most European think that NATO was created to stand up to the Soviet threat – not to supply soldiers for Bush’s war against the Muslim world.

The US Pentagon predicts that NATO needs 400,000 troops to defeat the people of Afghanistan.

The Afghan Army is not an army, they are mercenaries in the pay of US war machine.

Even the European nations, even though this fact is rarely publicized widely in the Western media, are increasingly asking as to why there is a need for NATO alliance since there is no longer the Warsaw Pact and the former Socialist in Europe are in the pocket of US imperialism? And why does the rich European Union even need NATO anymore? So-called Soviet threat is gone. Nuclear armed France and England can readily defend Europe in case of an attack.

NATO serves only US imperialism and their desire to rule the world at whatever cost it takes. NATO is just a stepping-stone to project US dominance not only in Europe, but also all over the world.

Countries like Lithuania and other former Socialist countries, their leaders now are bought with $$$, perks, offshore bank accounts and as traitors they must fulfill the orders of US Imperialism or else!

Nationalism is a product of capitalism that has developed into Imperialism, while the final step is Fascism before the death of exploitation and the freedom for mankind.

It would be good for the present Lithuanian leadership now to remember that there would not be any forgiveness for their crimes. No amount of nationalism or fascism will save these traitors, who will be condemned to the ash-heap of history!
