Appeal for a United Front of Communists, Anti-Imperialists and Patriots

After the unilateral independence of Kosovo, with the help of Western Imperialism, headed by the United States – the citizens of Serbia are going to vote on May 11, 2008 for a new parliament.
Large differences between the neo-liberal parties led to the end of their coalition. The coming election will show again the bitter truth that Karl Marx said, when he realized that the exploiters allow the exploited in several years to choose as to who will represent them in parliament, thus making it believable that changes are possible.
In this sense Serbia now still has one of the most reactionary election laws in use, which makes it impossible for real working class representatives to get elected.
The Communist Youth League of Yugoslavia is appealing to all of progressive and left forces for the formation of a United Front, which will resist the bourgeois tyranny and self-rule. The communists, anti-imperialists and patriots must form this United Front and struggle against predatory capitalism. Only a united front will give our working class and our people true freedom.
