Unification Is Taking Place Between the CPSU / RCWP-RPC

From the "Word of a Communist"

Oleg Shenin

V.A. Tiulkin

In an official announcement of this historic unity by the two Communist Parties that are struggling against the present bourgeois regime of Russia, the decision to join together in this struggle was taken at the CC CPSU May 214, 2008 in Moscow.

The leader and chairman of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU) is Oleg Shenin and V.A. Tiulkin was elected as the First Secretary of the CPSU. V.A. Tiulkin was the head of the Russian Communist Workers Party- Russian Party of Communists before the two parties joined their forces together.

The entire Central Committee of the RCWP-RPC was elected into the Central Committee of the CPSU.

Oleg Shenin reported on the successes in Russia and other former Soviet Republics but also was very critical of e weaknesses in the work of both parties and he put the emphasis to work amongst the youth and more closely be integrated with the growing class struggles and amongst the youth.

An urgent drive to establish CPSU in all former Soviet Republics and especially to start the process of establishing the Komsomol movement. There must be much more contacts with the International Communist movements.

COMMENT:

Although many such attempts at unity were made since the dismemberment of the USSR, we certainly wish this present attempt success - it is long overdue!

The 3 delegates coming from Moscow to the International Council Conference will certainly report on this development, since some of the are members of the RCWP!
