Israel forced United Nations to suspend all food distribution to half of Gaza’s 1,500,000 million people last month. It stopped all of the UN supply trucks to enter Gaza.
Israel has also barred all foreign journalists from entering the Gaza Strip, in a move that the world media condemned Israel as a very serious violation of press freedom.
COMMENT:
Where is the condemnation by China and Russia, who have the UN Veto Power?
Why don’t they threaten to break off all diplomatic relations with Israel until they leave all of the occupied lands of Palestinians?
Will these two questions be condemned as anti-Semitic?
Before Obama was sworn in as President of USA, he has already picked to the very high-level post – as the White House Chief of Staff – Rahm Israel Emanuel – as cited by the New York Times newspaper.
Rahm Emanuel’s father helped to smuggle weapons to the Israel Irgun, the Zionist militia of former Prime Minister if Israel, Menachem Begin in the 1940’s. This Irgun Zionist terrorist group carried out numerous attacks on the Palestinian civilians, including the bombing of Jerusalem’s King David Hotel, which was condemned by threw United Nations in 1946.
This Emanuel continued his father’s pro-Israel-Zionist tradition of active support for Israel during the 1991 Gulf War, when he helped the Israel Army have their army vehicles near the Lebanon border, when southern Lebanon was still occupied by Israel.
He was the White House political director in the Clinton administration. Emanuel was elected to the US Congress in Chicago in 2002. He was the key figure in getting the tremendous financial help for Obama during the election campaign. Obama was the chief speaker at the pro-Israel Conference last June in Washington, where finances was the man topic.
In the US Congress Emanuel was even far more pro-Israel than President Bush in funneling billions of US tax payers dollars. He even wrote a letter to President Bush in June of 2003, criticizing Bush for “insufficient support for Israel and criticizing Bush for having condemned Israel’s policy of assassinating Palestinian political leaders.” In July of 2006 he made a speech in the UYDS Congress in support of the resolution that backed Israel bombing of Lebanon and Palestinian territory, which caused thousands of civilian victims.
The truth was told exactly by the Executive Director of the USA National Jewish Democratic Council told the Fox News that Obama picking of Emmanuel is: “just another indication that despite the attempt to say that he is defending Palestinian people – Obama will maintain the Pro-Israel policies of former President Bush!”
Obama will never be or come up to the stature of the assassinated Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Textile workers, working in the textile sector that is an important sector in Turkey, and of whom a great majority are employed without insurance and the right of membership in a trade union and debarred from occupational safety and death, gathered last October 26 to hold a Conference in Istanbul. This conference was organized by the union Tekstil–Sen and it became a platform which discussed the problems of the workers and looked for solutions to the economical, democratic and social problems.
In her opening speech, Tekstil-Sen General Secretary Beycan Taskiran talked about the fact that the workers are employed without any insurance and working under terrible unhealthy conditions and the aim of that conference was to start organizing the textile workers into a trade union.
This rally “For the brotherhood of the people and democracy against nationalism, racism and militarism” was planned by 18 organizations, but it was banned by the Turkish state.. But the organizers did call for the meeting and the Turkish police turned really furious and imposed terror on the city and tried to disrupt the gathered thousands.
Despite that, the 5,000 strong demonstration took place and demanded the release of their jailed leader ad a solution to the Kurdish question.
During this demonstration banners were unfurled and flags, slogans were shouted, such as: “Equality, brotherhood, freedom for the Kurdish nation!” – “The PKK is the people and the people are here” – “Long live the revolutionary solidarity!” and “Murderer Erdogan!”
The demonstrators were forced to disperse after they were viciously attacked by the police, while many people were arrested. After that, the police kept on marching through the city of Izmir and to terrorize the population.
Interview with F. Wm. Engdahlom
It’s a flawed view from the very beginning to the end. I know about the peak oil view – I myself subscribed to it as a possible explanation for the occupation of Iraq in 2003, because nothing else at that time made any sense.
I wrote a piece about this that was widely debated and earned me quite a bit of hostile mail, called “Confession of an Ex-Peak Oil Believer.” The whole peak oil theory rests on the idea that oil is a fossil fuel, which is accepted as a religious dogma by almost every geology department in most of the world.
The problem is that oil is not a fossil fuel, it’s not from the detritus of dead dinosaurs or from algae from under the ocean or bird fossils or what ever fossils you want to take. It’s not a biological product. Oil is generated deep down.
If you’ve ever seen a schematic cutting into the core of the earth of how a volcano erupts, it’s like a huge seething cauldron deep down inside the earth’s mantel burning constantly. Then there’s a fault or a rupture or an alignment of a certain structure near the surface of the earth, and that allows the enormous temperature and pressure to erupt to the surface, like Krakatoa or Mount Etna.
Imagine that that’s how oil is created, deep down in the earth – oil is a hydrocarbon, and Soviet scientists have synthetically reproduced oil hydrocarbons in the laboratory at a hundred times the atmospheric pressure at sea level. Oil is constantly being produced, at least from all indications, deep down in the earth, and rather than saying it comes from dead animals that are pressed down in the earth from above, we should start training our geologists to look deeper at some of the fields such as Ghawar in Saudi Arabia, some of these fault structures in the Middle East that give them such riches of oil.
I was in Iceland not too long ago giving a talk on my book, and the former Foreign Minister of Iceland there told me that the government had commissioned an independent geophysical survey last year of Iceland in terms of the presence of oil. He said that the scientific conclusion was that Iceland is swimming on a sea of oil, that it’s a North Sea oil reserve.
Who is it that controls the information we have on oil supplies in the world? Who got the peak oil movement going? It was the intimate decades-long friend of US Vice President Dick Cheney – Matt Simmons from Houston – the billionaire oil tycoon banker!
And who is it that benefits from the $107 per barrel price of oil today? Well, I don’t see any sign that Exxon-Mobil giant is crying on their way to the bank! They are making obscene profits.
And this is acceptable as justifiable!
“The U.S. Psychological Operations (PSYOPS) are planned operations to convey to the general public information and indicators to foreign audiences in order to influence their emotions, motives, objective reasoning and ultimately the behavior of foreign governments, organization, groups and individuals. PSYOPS are a very vital part of the broad range of U.S. diplomatic, informational, military and economic activities.”
The USA Pentagon does not just utilize psyops during wartime, they also use them against friendly nations during peace time to “inform and influence”, as well as to lower “adversary morale” and “create evidence” and dissatisfaction within the ranks.
US imperialism uses three categories of psyops:
(1) Strategic psyops – which include the international information activities conducted by US government agencies, such as UISAID, National Endowment for Democracy, the US State Department, CIA and others, to influence foreign attitudes, perceptions and behavior favorable to the goals and objectives of the US in time of peace and conflicts.
(2) Operational psyops – which are military operations conducted even during peacetime to promote an effective military campaign and strategy.
(3) Tactical psyops – that support tactical military missions against opposing forces.
The role of US Embassies in foreign countries is exemplified just by this one example how U.S. Ambassador Brownfield acted in Venezuela by setting up and generously funding the many “American Corners”. These CORNERS are partnerships set up without the country’s official approval where US propaganda is spread in these locations through internet, free books, magazines and documentary films and DVDs produced by the CIA. These “Corners” are used as if they are the “initiatives of the local population” and the US FBI-CIA guides their activities.
These “corner” are closely monitored by US Embassy secret services and names and contacts are established and money keeps flowing all the time.
These corners are now operating in Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, , Romania, former Yugoslavia and other countries in Africa and South America.
If the government of these countries complains then the whole Pentagon, CIA, FBI and US Embassies go into overdrive to attack these countries that there is no freedom of expression, no democracy, that these are peoples organizations, that the US government has nothing to do with these developments, etc. etc.
“Five former CIA agents describe there initial pride and enthusiasm at serving their nation, but turned to anguish and remorse, as they realized that they were actually subverting democracy and killing innocent civilians, all in the name of “national security” and promoting foreign policy agendas.”
Former CIA members such as:
A Notre Dame football star, an aerospace engineering senior at the Iowa State University, an attractive high school graduate, an Olympic shooting champion, and a young patriot all were recruited by the CIA at a young sage. These five brave individuals risk retaliation now in revealing these stories of their gradual disillusionment and finally defection from the CIA, as they eventually became convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that they were neither serving democracy, nor the people of their country.
The shooting champion describes of being put in charge of overthrowing a democratically elected government of Guatemala. The patriot relates his deep remorse for his direct responsibility in the deaths of numerous innocent people for which he can never make amends. The pretty high school girl graduate describes how her initial addiction to power and intrigue turned to disgust and horror.
This powerful documentary is a rare remarkable look at the results of the US unbridled secrecy and the lengths to which the US government will go to achieve questionable foreign policy goals.
