$40,000 Financial Campaign for Northstar Compass

We are appealing for our financial help in order to keep on publishing NSC in four editions and plan for holding the Third World Congress in 2010 in Santiago, Chile or in Berlin, Germany

 We hope all is well with you this new year and we hope that you are continuing to find the journal Northstar Compass (NSC) a useful source of edification on the struggles of the working classes and oppressed nationalities in the former Soviet Union. We strive to produce an excellent magazine chock full of updates and analyses ten to twelve times a year.

NSC is without a doubt a value for money. As you are aware, NSC is very affordable to the point that subscriptions do not cover printing and mailing costs despite being produced completely by volunteers. Alas, printing and mailing costs are out of our hands.

Furthermore, our work has expanded greatly and we now publish in French, Spanish and Russian editions in addition to the English edition.

Last, the International Council for Friendship and Solidarity with Soviet People, of which NSC is its organ, will be holding its Third World Congress in Santiago, Chile in April, 2010. We thank the brothers and sisters in Chile for hosting this Congress. Nevertheless, there will still be costs that have to be covered by us.

We are therefore appealing to your generous anti-imperialist solidarity to give and give to a $40 thousand sustaining fund we have created to support this work.
