Dear readers and dear friends of Soviet People:

It is not always easy to ask for financial donations under any circumstances, but especially now during the economic hardships that most of our readers find themselves in, because of the manipulation and outright robbery that is going on by world capitalism and the Transnational corporate power in the service of US imperialism.

As you are aware, we have launched a $40,000 NSC Sustaining Fund, in order that we may continue to publish the much needed and very much appreciated Northstar Compass publication that is now being published in English (Canada), French (Quebec), Russian (Russia) and Spanish (Chile).

As you well know, we are helping to the best of our ability to help these Four Editions to be published.

As of now, the International Council for Friendship and Solidarity with Soviet People and NSC Editorial Board have tentatively agreed to the very generous offer of our comrades in Chile to host the Third World Congress in April of 2010 in Santiago, Chile.

This also will put a heavy financial strain on all of us, in order to make certain that delegates from all over the world will be able to attend this, one of the most important Congresses of our Friendship Society ever.

With present economic recession, and its effects on the progressive movement, we cannot not continue to do our noble work of helping the unification of all progressive movements in the world, and especially the unity of all anti-bourgeois forces in former USSR for the resurrection of the Soviet Union!

The world needs a mighty Socialist resurrected USSR in order to stand up to and defend the working class of the world from the onslaught of NATO, WTO, WB, and Transnational Corporations!

The International Council for Friendship and Solidarity with Soviet People and its organ, the Northstar Compass, are the only worldwide organization and publication that is solely dedicated to Friendship with Soviet People and for the resurrection of the USSR!

We need your generous support to fulfill the $40,000 Sustaining Fund!
