Soviet flagThe Project of a New
SOCIALIST MANIFESTO

Dear readers of NSC and members for Friendship and Solidarity with Soviet People:

The two authors of this proposed New Socialist Manifesto are devoted patriots of Socialism and for the resurrection of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. They are also Marxists-Leninists-Stalinists and after analyzing the causes of the present crisis in this world of ours, they are proposing this Project for a New Socialist Manifesto as a start for discussions by members of the International Council for Friendship and Solidarity with Soviet People and readers of the Four Editions of Northstar Compass.

We invite all to give your input to this proposal, since everyone agrees, that the lack of unified actions by the progressive movements in former USSR and around the world against Imperialism, plays into the hands of this U.S. New World Order!

Michael Lucas, Editor of NSC Chairman ofthe International Council

The 21st century is a period of avalanche-like increases of critical problems on Earth. First, the crisis of the capitalist system and the depletion of nonrenewable resources is a result of capitalistic greed and exploitation of nature. It has become obvious that the dominant social and economic structure directly threatens not only the progress of mankind, but also raises the question of its future existence. Striving to ensure the continuation of its rule, capitalism has practically stopped the human progress, as further progress poses a direct threat to the existence of the capitalist ruling clique.

Mankind, halted in its evolution, is practically awaiting its death from a global, natural or artificial catastrophe, which is bound to happen sooner or later. Capitalism and its consumerist society have already brought us face to face with one of these catastrophes – the exhaustion of the world's resources.

Most probable is the scenario of the "Golden billion's" domination of all other countries and nations, the continuing depletion of world resources, and then a final downfall of human civilization as a result of an irreversible economic and ecological collapse of the planet. From its greed and thirst for power, the capitalist elite is dragging itself and the whole world into a grave.

Because of this, mankind must solve 3 interrelated, extremely complicated problems in order to live in the future. First, global problems relating to the crisis of exhaustion of resources (wars, epidemics, starvation, energetic collapses). Secondly, it must master super-powerful technologies on both planetary and cosmic scale in order to counter global threats. Finally it must, by cosmic expansion and settlement, drastically decrease the likelihood of destruction of mankind from a possible space disaster, as well as gain access to inexhaustible space resources.

In the present, the nearest and most dangerous problem is the global crisis, to which the capitalist system has brought us.

Tasks of this scale can only be achieved by socialism, directed towards knowledge, human perfection, and scientific and technological advance. Such was the first in the world socialist society, the USSR. A Society of cooperation and solidarity of citizens, which was based on mutual aid in solving even the most complex problems, and the absence of direct competition. USSR was destroyed because of errors committed by its governing body in the second half of the 20 century, the absence of experience in building a new society, and the active struggle against it by the world's capitalist system

The experience of the USSR presents an extraordinary value for building a socialist society in the future. Based on the experience of USSR and the successful experience of the first socialist society, there will be built the future of mankind.

It is obvious that it the state of competition between counties, organizations, nations, business corporations and the people themselves, a solution to any of these global tasks cannot be reached, since they require a maximum social coordination and unity of effort. "Market Economy" cannot be compatible with neither the aims of survival, nor the well-being of the global population, nor even with achieving basic social equity.

This means that all nations, if they wish to survive, must convert to a society of mutual aid and cooperation. Socialism is a society of cooperation and effort concentration for the achievement of the highest human goals, and not of competition and consumption, on which modern capitalism is based

The future mankind simply can't be non-socialistic, or, very soon, there won't be any mankind left. From an elementary analysis of the current global situation, it is obvious that the conservation of capitalism and the survival of the human civilization are incompatible.

The Reasons of the Global Crisis

The main idea of the western model of society (capitalism) is in the maximization of the capitalists' profit in conditions of expanding and unrestrained consumption, which cause a constant necessity in new market outlets. In historical measures, this is only possible for a short time – several centuries in the case of western military domination and a constant inflow of external resources.

The Western model originated in conditions of robbery and genocide of entire nations and even continents – North and South America, Australia, India, China, Arabian countries, African nations and etc. All this was accompanied by slave trade and excessive use of slave labor both on the territory of the West and in its conquered colonies. Without exaggerating, one can state that the western countries, have robbed the entire planet.

The capitalist world is clearly divided into 2 extremely unequal parts: The "Golden Billion", and the "Peripherals". The "Golden Billion" are Western countries and Japan, where the Western Capitalist system dominates, leaching off the peripherals. The other countries, with the so-called peripheral capitalist system, make up the "Third World". (The Soviet Union was called the "Second World").

The West currently consumes the absolute majority of the world's natural resources, which are acquired by them at prices clearly decreased by tens or even hundreds of times. If the whole world began to consume resources at the same rate as America, the world's resources would run out in 10 to 15 years.

The essence of capitalism and its main principle, is parasitism, or, as it is mildly called, the exploitation of man by man. It's parasitism of some people on other people, some social groups on other social groups, some countries and civilizations on other countries and civilizations. Parasitism is based on an unequal exchange between the parasite and the victim, the parasite receiving much more than it would in a fair exchange. This is made possible by the parasite's organizational, military, economical and propagandistic (manipulative) strength.

There is not, and there never was a fair and equal competition on the world markets – the rules of exchange are put in place by robbers and bandits. Unequal trade between countries is and was based on control of resources, key trade routes, and raw military power. Firstly, the Western guns are put to work, and after the collapse of the victim countries' structure the West forms a crushing one-sided trade agreement. As a result, defeated countries are cleaned out under the pretence of fair trade, while the Western trading companies have unthinkable benefits. Precious metals are bought for a pittance; natural resources and the best fertile land are given away for processing; the work of native inhabitants is bought for beggarly wages. This world order has only one goal -robbery.

All this is covered up by an extremely sophisticated propaganda machine, created for disguising monstrous crimes against humanity and deceiving their victims. A mechanism of this scale for the manipulation of social consciousness and the concealment of truth is unprecedented in history. Capitalism is a society of lies.

In their aims of acquiring maximum profit, Western countries led colonial wars with unseen cruelty. There were always wars, but never were they fought with such inhumane cruelty and cynicism. When the entire world was divided between colonizing nations, the West started the two most monstrous wars in the history of mankind, in order to divide the world between the nations of the West.

At the same time, capitalist countries purposely wipe out nations and (civilizations), which, theoretically, might be able to resist their power in the future. The purpose of World War 2 was not just the division of the worlds' resources, but also an attempt to destroy a competing civilization – the USSR.

The basis of Western civilization and the so-called "capitalism" is the principle of unrestrained expansion of markets. However, there will soon come a time when there will be no room to expand, and there will be no one to rob – the planet would have literally "run out". The West has not only robbed other nations, it's robbed its own planet, wasting the nonrenewable resources stored for billions of years.

History has shown that the Western model of society is just not capable to support the progress of humanity. Furthermore, it condemns the overwhelming majority of mankind to poverty, starvation, sorrow, degradation and finally death because the main drawback of capitalism – parasitism (unequal exchange) and its human-hating ideology.

It has become obvious that capitalism is not a necessary stage of evolution for any civilization. Furthermore, it is a dead end in the evolution of mankind. This was proven by the experience of the USSR – the first planned society in history, which was aimed at not (maximum) profit, but the development of mankind and scientific and technological progress. It proved in practice that there can exist socio-economic systems that by far exceed capitalism in both effectiveness and humanity.

Capitalism has not only shown itself to be much less effective than socialism, but has also led the entire world into a fatal crisis. It is evident that the capitalist system has collapsed not only economically, but also socially, politically and ideologically.

All the countries who have rejected socialism have abruptly worsened both their political and economic situation. They now stand on the path of degradation and national catastrophe, having demonstrated the ineffectiveness of the capitalist way.

The reason for the resource exhaustion crisis and all related crises is the greed of capitalist system. The only way out is a socialistic remodeling of society.

The Development Perspectives of Western Capitalism

Capitalism was the initiator of the scientific and technical revolution, having created the modern technical world. But this socio-economic system soon became an obstacle to its own scientific progress, which was beginning to threaten the rule of capitalism.

Having understood that the downfall of capitalism is inevitable, but fearing losing their power and being put to justice for the crimes they committed, the elite of the capitalist countries devised a plan for their survival. This plan in, essence, consists of "stopping history" – bringing progress to a complete standstill, and altogether freezing the development of society. This would be achieved with the use of already developed technologies of manipulation, and would ensure their sole and undivided control of society.

A simple analysis of the consumption rate of the planets' non-renewable resources shows, that if capitalism continues to exist, it is likely to end in a fatal catastrophe for the whole world in the very near future – within 30-40 years.

Attempting to put off its fall into a fatal crisis, Western capitalism strengthens its exploitation of "third world" countries, especially the countries of the former Soviet bloc. The capitalist economic system requires a constant excess of resources not just for its development, but for its basic survival.

This process will result in an increase of suffering and hundreds of millions of deaths in the countries robbed by the "Golden Billion". This will happen because the West would take the vital resources necessary for the physical survival of hundreds of millions of people. The west will have to literally throw all other countries and nations in a living hell, dooming them to starvation and poverty.

Simultaneously, all resources and chances of development will be taken from countries that are potential competitors. The situation will be even worse in countries with a harsh climate. This especially concerns Russia. The continuation of Western robbery will inevitably bring the death of the absolute majority of the population of this country.

The specific characteristics of the "New World Order", which will become dominant in the nearest decades, have already been determined. They are: the division of the world into two parts: a small group of relatively well-off countries, surrounded by an ocean of poverty and suffering, with the Western elite being at the very top of this pyramid. Any resistance will be overpowered with military force and special operations, which would be carried out with the help of local traitors.

Because of the constant depletion of resources, the level of consumption of even the "Golden Billion" will slowly (so as not cause social tension) but surely decrease. The hyper-consumption of the Western world will soon end forever.

If this scenario continues to develop and the western mono-culture will continue to expand, the global society will, given time, transform into a frozen society, one about which warned I. Efremov – a global fascist society of monopolized capitalism, with the elite having absolute power. Any progress and development will come to an end, and bring the so-called "end of history".

In the end, after an irreversible economical degradation and ecological collapse of the entire system, the final death of human civilization will occur.

Only following the path of the USSR can save the countries and nations under the threat of the Western globalistic project.

The Ideological Basis of Modern Capitalism

The ideological model of capitalism is based on the overemphasis of money (capital) and the constant increase of its amount (profit). Under capitalism, money and capital are the main values. Obviously, that in this system it would be ideal not just to make profit, but to make maximum profit.

"Monopolistic capitalism requires not just any profit, but specifically maximum profit. This will be the main law of modern capitalism."

"The main characteristics and requirements of the main economic law of modern capitalism could be formulated as follows: ensuring maximum profit through exploitation, deceit and impoverishment of the majority of the population of a given country through the complete control and systematical robbery of the people of the country in question, and especially undeveloped countries. Finally, maximum profit can be obtained thorough, with wars and the militarization of national property.” (J. Stalin)

Since capitalism overemphasizes money, it is a principally inhumane system. This is obvious; if the main value is monetary profit, then everything else has lesser values. Human lives, relationships, morals, and the environment – all are sacrificed for maximum profit.

From this overemphasis of money and profit follows the main capitalistic analytical criteria of everything in the world – "economical effectiveness". It is a measure of generating maximum profit at minimal expense using practically any means necessary. Thus, from this point of view, the optimal model of operation is parasitism. Furthermore, from the point of view of capitalistic ideology, parasitism is in no way considered unjust, it is instead considered successful – parasitism is exceptionally optimal in its relationship between profit and expense. Under capitalism, respected and praised businessmen are those who have been able to make a fortune through dirty affairs and yet have not broken any formal laws, even if in doing so they have broken almost all thinkable moral laws. An capitalistic role model is not a creator and inventor, but a stock player, who, with minimal efforts, makes millions in a few minutes. In any traditional society, these people would be shunned and dishonoured.

The parasite, of course, must be an exceptional individualist exceptionally greedy, always trying to get the most out of surrounding people, at the same time trying to give the least.

In its race for maximum profit, capitalism never could, and in principal cannot provide social effectives for all citizens on a level that is fit for human life.

To avoid a socialistic revolution and at the same time to ideologically compete with the exceptionally high social attraction towards the USSR, the capitalistic elite of the "Golden Billion" had to share with the working class some of the goods it robbed from the "third world", and to create for its people a transformed image of capitalism, one that was more attractive than the socialistic project of the USSR. The Western elite had to copy many of USSR's social achievements – pension funds, sick days, an improved public health care system, shorter work hours and so on. But for a sensible person it remains obvious that this is just a cover up – these are just second-rate improvements that do not and cannot cancel out all the weaknesses of a capitalistic society.

To counter this, the elite initiated an intense degradation of its people, using tools of mass manipulation that were specifically created for this purpose. All large sources of mass media were monopolized by the government elite. This was, in essence, the creation of a new psychologically-informational weapon. It helped the West to survive during the Cold War, but used up a huge amount of resources, and caused the degradation and destruction of the traditional society, which in turn caused a rapid decrease in the human potential of capitalist countries.

Material production was exported from the Western countries into countries with a warm climate and a cheap work force, all for the reduction of cost. In order to maintain the ideological image of the Western economical model and the relatively high level of consumption, the West created a virtual economy. This economy is based on the so called "Production of Services – about 70% of US work force produce services. But all of this is a bluff – the production of services is not the post-industrial world, it is the pre-industrial world.

The destruction of the USSR happened too late for the West. It used up too much of its resources in its struggle against the USSR. Furthermore, a number of (countries) understood the fatality of capitalism and began building a socialistic or hybrid society. The attempt of "burying the idea of socialism" did not succeed.

With the destruction of the USSR, the probability of public disturbances decreased abruptly. However, the resource exhaustion crisis makes it impossible to maintain the former high standard of living which was used to bribe the western nations. Because of this, the Western elite will gradually decrease the standard of living for its people, and attempt to control the situation through the use of manipulative tools.

One of the most essential problems that the architects of the globalist plan had to solve was how to degrade the majority of the people to a state of pure consumption and corruption. Since the main force behind cultural and social progress is the human society, the goal of the capitalist elite is to destroy the social (inter-human and inter-social) relations between people in order to make a united resistance impossible. In such a state, a person does not concern himself with anything but the fulfillment of his biological needs, is unable to follow moral and ethical norms, and is completely incapable of purposeful self-development and critical analysis of the surrounding world.

For this purpose, individualism is promoted in every possible way. Individualism is based on the idea of the individual's personal interest being a complete priority over the interests of others. Individualists are incapable of effectively uniting in order to achieve common goals, since no-one is able to sacrifice their personal interests for the common good. In order to deceive the people, all significant goals and purposes are replaced with the idea of "personal freedoms", which free the person from morals and social responsibility.

A person in this system may have formal rights, but in reality he is not capable of upholding them before a more powerful individual who has more money and connections. Even more powerful are united groups, corporations, mafias, and so on. With time they capture political power, and the separated citizens have no chances of resisting them.

Schools and other means of propaganda of the modern capitalist society purposefully create limited and ambitious people, incapable of systematic thinking and reasoning and cooperation with others. This leads to the isolation of people from each other and deep feeling of constant loneliness. This feeling of loneliness and psychological damage resulting from destructive manipulation are the main reasons for the catastrophically higher level of suicides and mental illnesses in Western countries than in traditional societies.

The ruling capitalistic elite is purposefully upbringing the "ideology of consumption" in its society. The social status in such a society is determined by a person's level of consumption, and not their personal characteristics or accomplishments. Thus, if one person consumes more than another, his social status is higher. Accordingly, the higher the social status, the more the person is supposed to consume – he must buy expensive houses, luxury types of services, clothing, cars, and etc.

This triggers an unrestrained race for consumption in the entire society, the levels of which have long ago crossed all thinkable boundaries. In this race for consumption, it became common among the western people to throw away anything that "went out of fashion", even though it still works perfectly. In order to ensure a faster replacement of products, Western producers not only use mass manipulative advertising, but also intentionally lower the quality of the products.

A person in a capitalistic society consumes more not because he produces more products for the society, but because he gets more rights for unequal exchange.
