Newspapers, TV and all media all over the world screamed with headlines: "Unpredictable Yeltsin fires his entire government," "Yeltsin threatens to sack more officials," "Foes kept guessing," etc., etc.!
Reading through columns of type, you come across one sentence which states: "International Monetary Fund in talks with Yeltsin has demanded changes to comply with its lending policy."
No matter how much Yeltsin or the powers that run Yeltsin behind the scenes try to shuffle or reshuffle his cabinet or ministers, the chronic problem of privatization and absolute robbery of the people, they cannot and will not have any answers to make life better for Soviet people.
The future of capitalism is not there. Failure after failure is evident not only in Russia or in other former Soviet republics, but in Philippines, Japan, Korea and other countries þ where the so-called "growth bubble" burst. How long will it take Soviet people to realize this? U.S., Canadian, British and other capitalist countries live off the avails of other countries þ cheap labour, rape of their natural resources, gobbling up industries and ruining the economies in order to save the Imperialists own. But... no cosmetic surgery will save this patient!
This is all a "face lift" for Yeltsin to some of the Soviet people who, unfortunately, still think that "market economy" is the best thing to happen since sliced bread! Capitalism, especially the raw, mafia infested, robbery infatuated regime, has their days numbered.
If you also read down from these headlines in the newspapers, you can read what Yeltsin had stated: "Dismissed ministers do not have to clear out their desks"! what does that mean? According to presidential spokesman Sergei Yastrzhembsky who said: "Yeltsin shall rehire all of them back plus other sacked officials"! Does any more need to be said?
Now is the time for the "communists" who are members of the Russian Duma from CPRF to put their money where their mouth is þ as the old saying goes! If Zyuganov really believes that he can make changes through "parliamentary means," here's the perfect opportunity to bring the situation to a head!
Will he do it? Unfortunately, we doubt it. The Duma seat; the pay; the perks; the illusion that someday in the year 2000 Zyuganov might become a president are more important to Zyuganov than the dedication to throw out this crooked regime and then go on to resurrect the Soviet Union and Socialism!
Yeltsin and his present cronies do not rule Russia - it's the International Monetary Fund, World Bank and world imperialism headed by the USA who now rule Russia!
